A very warm welcome is extended to you and your child from everyone at Leigh St Peter’s CE Primary School. I hope that over the next few years we can work together as a team to help your child achieve their full potential. It is a joy and a privilege to be able to play a part in the life of a child and to celebrate special moments with them. However, it is also a huge responsibility to ensure that all
are given anappropriate diet of learning, achievement and fun. Therefore we believe it is crucial that home and school work in partnership for the good of all. We value positive contributions made by parents and hope that we can develop a relationship based on mutual respect and trust. At St Peter’s Christian Values are given a high priority. Children are encouraged to show kindness, to care for each other and to show respect. Alongside academic progresspupils are also given the opportunity to develop their faith and spirituality. This is a happy vibrant school where all pupils are challenged to see themselves as unique and important. They are expected to be constantly improving themselves and their school, reaching out to their neighbourhood and eventually changing their world for the better. This prospectus is intended to introduce our school to you. It provides information for you about how our school works. However, it can only give you a taste and in no way can cover all that happens in the school – we do much more! To gain a deeper understanding why not come and visit us? You will be made very welcome.
